Portable foam applicator
A foam nozzle with a tank of foam concentrate, connected to the fire main. Foam onto burning fuel, where an extinguisher is not enough.
Key facts
- It consists of a foam nozzle (self-inducting or with a separate inductor), a hose and a portable tank with at least 20 litres of foam concentrate.
- The ship must carry at least one spare tank with another 20 litres of concentrate.
- Solution delivery: at least 200 litres a minute at the nominal pressure of the fire main.
