SeamanEnglish ("the site") provides educational materials for seafarers: practice questions, tests and guides about maritime English and recruitment testing. The site is currently free to use and in beta. When paid features launch, these terms will be updated and clearly announced before any payment is taken.
All content on this site (questions, audio, guides, design) is protected by copyright and belongs to SeamanEnglish unless stated otherwise. You may use it for your personal study. You may not copy, republish, sell or redistribute it, scrape it in bulk, or use it to build a competing question bank. Sharing links to the site is always welcome.
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use it for anything unlawful. That is the whole rule.
The site is provided "as is". We work hard to keep information accurate and current, but test formats, prices and employer requirements change and we may not catch every change immediately. Always confirm critical details with the test provider or your agency. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the materials on this site.
We may update these terms as the site grows (for example, when paid features, accounts or newsletters launch). The date at the top always tells you when the terms last changed.
